In fact, Sam and Miry are on our honeymoon with us.  Neither Ian nor I could stand the thought of being away from Jackson for more than a night.  He was almost a year old now, and he loved his Aunt Miry, and Miry loved him like she never thought she could.  She and Sam were even trying to get pregnant now.  Even though she thought she never wanted kids, I believe her maternal instinct kicked in the first time Jackson cooed at her.

"I love you, Mrs. Brady." Ian breathes against my belly traveling lower past my belly button.

I was pleading my pleasure with groans when we heard a knock on the door.               "Ugh." Ian groans, standing up putting on his pants and leaving the master suite to answer the door.  I waited a couple minutes when I heard Ian yelling for me to come in there.  I was panicked at his urgency, throwing on a robe I ran into the second room.  Miry and Sam were standing at the door.  Ian was on the floor his legs open and Jackson was walking without help into his daddy's arms.

Jackson had the biggest smile on his face and was giggling as he reached Ian, and he snatched him in his arms kissing his cheeks.

"Buddy, daddy is so proud of you." Ian gushed all over his son at his milestone of walking that far without assistance.  I knelt beside them and Jackson reached out his sweet little hand to me.  He looked so much like his daddy, and I knew some day he would be breaking hearts all over the place.

"Mama." His voice was the sweetest sound to me.

"Good morning, baby boy," I cooed at him.  Ian looked at me and the love and happiness in his eyes melted me.  Leaning in for a kiss, Ian took my lips and Jackson screamed with a delightful laugh pulling on my hair and smacking his hand on Ian's face lightly making both of us laugh.

This was my life and I couldn't imagine being happier with my husband and my son.

I never thought in a million years that I would ever find anyone that I could love more than Aubrey Jackson.  She was the only girl in my life for so long.  I was never faithful to any girl, except for when Aubrey and I were together.  I was so in love with that redhead that I couldn't see straight.

After
the attack and the burial of our son, Aubrey told me she had to leave. That she needed some space, and she left.  She went to London.  She wanted a whole ocean of space apparently.  I hated it, but I understood. I knew that we would never be the same again, but I also knew that no matter what, when she needed me I would be there.

My four years in college were woman and football.  I had sex with hundreds of women.  Some I'd date for awhile, but as soon as they told me I wasn't allowed to talk to Aubrey, snip, snip. I'd cut them loose and not look back.  We talked on the phone all the time.  We would meet up on the occasional weekend.  It was always nothing but friendly.  I of course wanted it to be more, but she didn't.  I would take her as my best friend any day just to have her in my life.

I kept my social calendar full.  Don't get me wrong, I didn't pine away for Aubrey.  I had enough distractions of the female persuasion to keep me from doing so, but nothing would brighten my day more than the sound of her laugh.

I tried to call her after her first board meeting.  I called over and over that night with no answer.  I was about ready to board a flight to go find her when I tried one more time.

Some man answered my baby girl's phone.

That's how I found out about Ian fucking Brady, the girl of my dreams man.  God did I hate him.

Don't feel too sorry for me, that night I went out and picked up two hot girls.  We had one hell of a hot sexy threesome.  Like I said, I always found a way to cope.

The day that my baby girl called me crying, yelling at me about a tape was a hard one.  She thought I knew about it.  Hell if I did, it broke my heart that she even thought I did know about it.  I had to get to her. I had to make sure she knew that I didn't know.

Meeting Ian fucking Brady standing at the door of my baby girl's apartment made my body twitch.  If it was me, I would have sent myself packing.  He didn't, in fact I knew I was screwed the minute he told me he knew everything.  She never would have told him our secret if she didn't plan on spending the rest of her life with him.

Before I left though, I had to try.  She didn't budge, she didn't falter.  She had love in her eyes for him.  She did for me too, but more in the way a girl loves her big brother.  I knew then that it was never going to happen for us.  I was happy for her, I was.  That's the only thing I ever really wanted for her was to be happy.

I went about my life as usual. Casual fling, date a girl a couple of times, play football, hang with friends.  You know the usual football star, rich, bachelor life style.  I was with a cute blonde at a charity function, a $1000 a plate function, so only the who's who was at this shindig.  I hated them, but my manager made me go to them once in awhile for PR.

I was making small talk with some old fart when I saw her.  I about dropped the whiskey double in my hand.  The cute blonde I had as my date had her arm locked on mine.  I had every intention of taking her back to the limo and fucking her brains out before I sent her on her way.

Everything changed though, as I watched her walk across the room.  I had seen her in movies, and of course the Victoria Secret catalogs, but damn she was breathtaking in person.  I had to talk to her, like I have never wanted to talk to anyone in my entire life. I was able to make the slip from the blonde telling her I needed to use the bathroom.

"Ms. Dean, I don't think we have had the pleasure of meeting."  I touch her bare shoulder lightly to let her know of my presence.  She turned around facing me, her hazel eyes glistening like they had diamonds in them.  Her slightly tanned skin was silky smooth, and her smell, oh my god just her smell made me hard.

"Heidi, please call me Heidi, Mr. Olsen."  She smiled at me, her gorgeous pinks lips parted to show her perfect white teeth.  For the first time since Aubrey Jackson, a woman had actually made my heart skip a beat.

"Only if you call me Rex," I hold out my hand to shake hers and she takes it.  The minute are skin touched, I knew that I would do everything in my power to get to know this woman.

Unfortunately, my blonde date who I had long since forgotten about, found me before I could ask her anything more.  Heidi excused herself and moved on to another couple giving some woman a hug.  I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, and I had this annoying girl hanging on me.  Shit, I couldn't even remember her name.

I was stuck. I didn't know a way out of it, so I told blondie that I wasn't feeling well and that I needed to leave.  In the limo she started coming on to me, but all I could think of was Heidi Dean.  I politely declined the woman's offer to at least let her suck my dick.  Yeah, you heard me.  I dropped her off at her place and the first thing I did was call my manager.  I wanted Heidi Dean's phone number, email, and twitter account.  I didn't care, I needed to make contact and ask her out on a date.

Being me, it was pretty easy to get my hands on her phone number.  I didn't hesitate one second when I punched in her digits the next night.

"Hello?" Her voice was like an angel.

"Hi, Heidi. It's Rex Olsen."

That night we stayed on the phone for four hours.  She was going to be in Denver for two more nights and we decided we would go on a date.  I was floating, giddy almost.

We were having a nice get to know you dinner, lots of flirting, laughing, and teasing.  All was going well, until I got the call from Aubrey.  Shit, I had to take it.  I told Heidi I was sorry, but I had to take the call.  She was so cool about it, saying sure of course.

"Aubrey."  I answered, and the crying sobbing girl on the other line made my heart drop into a fiery pit in my stomach.

"Baby girl, please calm down. I can't understand you," more unrecognizable words, "talk slower, I don't know what you are saying."  I look up at Heidi expecting to see a pissed off look on her face, but she wasn't. She was concerned and worried.  I am finally able to make out that Ian is a lying bastard and she is on her way to Colorado.  She wanted to know if I could pick her up at the airport.

"Of course, you know I will."  When I get off the phone,  I look up at Heidi.

"Go, it sounds like you are needed," she says without a blink of an eye.

"I'm so sorry. Let me drop you off at your hotel first.  Her flight doesn't land for an hour.  Can you ever forgive me?"  I give her my best I'm sorry look.

"You're fine, Rex, she was very upset I could hear that."

"It's just that she is a very good friend of mine, kind of like my little sister." I tell her the little white lie for now.

"Please, you don't have to explain, but I will take that ride," she says, smiling at me with total understanding in her voice.

Before she gets out my car at the hotel, she turns to me, "I like you, Rex. I would love to have another date with you."  I am over the moon at her words.  I turn in my seat placing my hands on her silky slim face and bring her lips to mine.  At first contact it is like fireworks going off.  She parts her lips for me and I run my tongue along her bottom lip before I suck on it gently.  She fists my hair pulling me harder to her mouth. I am as hard as a rock just from this kiss.  That hasn't happened since the day Aubrey attacked me in my car so many years ago.

Heidi lets loose of me gasping for air.  "Yes, I would like a another date too," I say as we laugh.

"Shit, Rex. I'll be anxiously awaiting your call," she says running a finger down the corner of her mouth.  I get out running around to her side to open the door for her.  Helping her out, she puts one long, toned leg out and then the other.  She is wearing a short skirt that reminds me of something Marilyn Monroe would wear.  Taking my hand, she stands giving me the sexiest smile I have ever seen.  I see her into her hotel guiding her with my hand on the small of her back.

When she is at the elevators, I tell her I need to go to get there in time.  I take her hand kissing her knuckles and she blushes.  Damn she is sexy.

"I'll call you soon." I yell back as I run out of the hotel, needing to get to my baby girl.

Aubrey's a mess when I get to her.  She tells me about my asshole father's letter.  It brings everything back up and we cry.  We cry together just like the night it happened.

If all that wasn't bad enough, she tells me about Ian and Michelle.  I want to go find the asshat and beat the shit out him.  She cries herself to sleep in my arms and I carry her to the guest room.

I hate how much she is hurting right now, and it is tearing me up inside.  I also can't help but think of Heidi too.

I lie in my bed and look at my phone to see I have a text.  It's from her.

Hope everything is alright with your friend
.

It brings a smile to my face just thinking about her and that amazing kiss.

She'll be fine. I might have to kick her boyfriend's ass though.  I can't wait to see you again
.

I text back.  She texts me back within a second.

Me too!  I'll be leaving for LA tomorrow, but would love to know when we can see each other again
.

I reply:

As soon as I get her squared away and feeling better I will be on the next flight
.

She replies:

I'll be anxiously waiting.  xoxoxo
