Both hands circled her waist as he kissed her. Harsh with need and frustration. Squeezing her forcefully, like she was a dream he desperately needed to hold on to.

He pressed into her. Using his hands to block her escape. She laid her hand on his chest, in an achingly familiar gesture.

Feeling the rapid beat of his heart. The rise and fall of his chest as he breathed. In and out. Hot and moist. Against her face. Like the first day they met. All those years ago.

Lena took in a shaky breath. Even the air around them...stilled. Déjà vu again. He sighed, breathing her name. Just once.

“Lena.”

Ty looked down at her.

She smiled up at him. Eyes welling.

“Ty.”

At that exact moment, she knew she was in love with him.

Somewhere inside, she had always known.

Damn his stupid, 
stupid
 hide for this. 

Damn him.

Lena imagined an eighteen wheeler, hammering into her gut, would feel about the same way. She felt more alive than she ever had in her life.

Wait.

By Lucifer’s testicles…

She snickered to herself. That sounded funny.

Stop fucking around, dammit. Focus.

Oh yeah.

What in the 
entire
 hell were they doing?

And why did she continue to ask herself the same asinine questions?

This was completely, absolutely, hands down, the dumbest thing she had ever done.

Dumber even, than the time she got drunk off of Boons Farm Apple Wine when she was eighteen and tragically learned she indeed, could not walk on the ceiling.

This was…insanity.

This was…ridiculous.

This was…too fucking good to pass up.

Well…Alisa did stuff and is still doing stuff. Only now she has two boys crazy enough to want her to be their mommy. Hey, at least she tried to warn them. So her job is done.

She lives for a world full of controllable anatomically correct, android men programmed to meet her specific feminine needs (wink, wink, nudge, nudge with a big waggle of the eyebrows.)  Who look like the Rock and Ian Somerhalder, and Idris Elba. And, that’s it she promises. Variety. Gotta have it right?
