“But we never said that you could direct how the whole thing goes down.”

Delvin gave her a patient smile. “You left that … open to interpretation.” He stroked a hand in her hair. “I don't want to prolong this madness any longer than we have to. You'll be with me tonight so he can watch. He'll be with you tonight, and I'll watch. There'll be no illusions for any of us once this night is over.”

“This isn't what we agreed upon,” Tailan squeaked, suddenly feeling morbidly excited.

“You cannot change the rules mid-way, Delvin,” Amir growled.

Delvin left the bath and said over his shoulder, “I never changed the rules …
husband
. I simply didn't reveal all of them. I believe I mentioned to Tailan that this would be the most intensely electrifying experience of her life. I definitely plan to do my part.” His voice trailed behind him as he departed the bedroom. “Time is of the essence, people. I suggest you two get prepared.”

Tailan almost fell into the oversized whirlpool bathtub as Amir turned on her. “This is an outrage,” he growled. “Delvin is already proving my point. He is deceitful. I am not prepared to take you before him tonight.”

She gasped, at a complete loss for words. Her gaze inched up, seeking Amir's. “We agreed to let him choose,” Tailan reminded. “It's our error that we were not more specific.” She kicked off her shoes and undressed.

“You are actually excited,” Amir accused.

Her silence prompted Amir to march around her and turn on the double showers. He started to undress as he gritted through his teeth, “You could put an end to this right now.”

“But I don't want to,” she confessed.

“I hope you will remember you said that.”

Tailan whipped around, and the look on Amir's face was pure sensual

Delvin beat quick feet to the second full bath on the other side of the suite. He stripped and jumped into the shower. Everything was riding on tonight. His heart, his love, and his manhood. There was no way he was going to let a little voyeurism on Amir's part deter him from seizing the ultimate prize—Tailan and everything she represented.

He dried off, threw on a robe, brushed his teeth and gargled. He took a long look at his reflection and opened his robe. Years as an athlete had served him well. He was in his physical prime—from rippling shoulders to washboard abs to oak tree hard thighs. He was eye candy for any healthy red-blooded woman, and Tailan was about to get a full blast of his insatiable hunger.

Delvin doused the bathroom light and returned to the master bedroom. He entered, and for a split second he thought the two of them broke camp while he was away. But no, they had dimmed the lights. Delvin went to the night stand and increased the illumination. The bathroom door opened, and they walked out together, dressed in matching robes.

Tailan came to him and whispered, “I turned the lights down.”

He collected her hand and planted a soft kiss. “No hiding.” He looked over to Amir. “For any of us.” He escorted her over to the bed as he said over to Amir, “I would invite you too, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to indulge the entire space.”

“This will serve my needs, thank you,” Amir responded stiffly as he moved over to the chaise lounge.

Delvin closed his mind to everything but the moment. No thoughts of how Tailan might be nervous, no second guessing whether once they started, Amir would interrupt. No ideas of dialing back his passion. Delvin was focused on one thing only—her pleasure.

He untied the knot in his robe and let it fall open. Tailan's gaze tracked straight to his erection. Her barely noticeable shiver did not escape him. He opened her robe and gloried in her perfection. Her full breasts called to be kissed, her flat, smooth stomach begged for the touch of his tongue. Oh, and the neatly trimmed curls nestled between her luscious thighs made his mouth water.

Delvin pushed the robe from her shoulders and kissed one of them. He collected her hands and placed them on his shoulders. She pushed his robe off, and he drew her closer. They were at last skin to skin. At first, he treated her body to the kind of welcomed touches that were all about reacquainting himself with her feel, her scent, her taste. She moaned as those touches became bolder and ignited a part of her that only Delvin could reach. He cherished the sounds of her pleasure, the softening of her body to receive him. The first kiss was light, exploratory, but the tremors that he felt whip through her body told him that toying with her any longer was not an option.

Delvin fisted her hair and pulled her into a raw, thirsty kiss. Her hands were caressing his back, squeezing his shoulders. And with every moan he pulled out of her, the dam to his need crumbled. Then she committed the ultimate act of desire—her thighs willingly opened to his prodding shaft, and Delvin lost it!

Tailan was pinned to the edge of the bed in a heartbeat. Delvin toppled her over and was quickly between her thighs with his mouth teasing her center. Her body convulsed and shivered; her breathing came in short pants as she cried. She had always liked to be stretched to the point of breaking. He kept her on the edge for long delicious minutes. The increase in her volume signaled she was toppling over. Delvin's fingers joined the fray and sank deep inside her core and tripped her into oblivion.

He didn't wait for her to come down. Instead he took her legs and pulled them over his forearms. He threw her arms around his neck and sprang up from the floor.

Tailan screamed, “Delvin!”

She was wet; the feel of her need rivering down to his body was all the invitation he needed.

He was so attuned to her that every nuance of her movements fueled his desire to please her even more. Delvin braced his thighs and surged hard, straight into her clenching muscles.

“I've missed you!” he cried. “I've missed this.” He swallowed her gasp with his mouth, letting her taste her own tangy pleasure. He pounded quick drum beats that touched her womb. Her juicy muscles were locking down every time he slammed home. “You're mine,” he whispered into her ear. “Don't you ever forget it!”

Delvin gave it all to her. He perched her against the wall and thrust into her as those screams of pleasure intensified. He had her legs propped on his shoulders, leaving her fully vulnerable to his pace, his passion, his purpose.

Her cries only escalated until he felt those creamy walls tighten around him even more.

“That's right, baby,” he groaned. “Come for me.” He emphasized every thrust with, “Come. For. Me.”

Her body followed his command with shattering results.

“Oh, God!” she cried as her climax ripped her apart.

The woman was nearly in tears. He moved the session back to the bed. Delvin had her on her back with her legs over his thighs as he treated her pearl to feather soft teases and kept right on stroking. Tailan tensed and panted, yet she never cried for him to stop. From Delvin's vantage point, she looked as if she was beyond rational thought. And that was just the way he wanted her.

He switched their positions and put her on top. This move forced Delvin to call upon all the control he could muster. Tailan went wild on top of him; she rode him like the hounds of hell were chasing her and he was her stallion to freedom.

Tailan leaned over him and pressed her tongue into his mouth, holding onto him as though her connection to life depended on it. Dear God, she had to be as starved for this joining as he was. He surged his hips up into her rapid downward thrusts. Her grip around his shaft was taking him dangerously close to the edge. He could only pray Tailan crossed the finish line again before he did.

“Right, there!” Tailan screamed. “Yes, right there. Just like that!”

Combining their efforts was just what was needed to send Tailan into a screaming orgasm. She collapsed on top of him, weak as a newborn.

Delvin peppered her damp face with soothing kisses as she idled down. He let her see the intent in his eyes, and she gave a faint smile.

He eased from under Tailan and left the bed, then he brought her to the edge and pulled her on all fours. She was still gasping but never objected. Delvin positioned behind her and poised the head of his shaft at her core.

Delvin's hands tightened on her hips. “Scream for me again, baby.”

He slammed home and drilled into her to sounds of her excited sighs, gasping pants, and blissful cries.

Two hours after they had begun, Tailan was nothing more than pretzeled exhaustion. Delvin was still basking in the afterglow of his orgasm, and she could feel the involuntary twitching of his limbs. Only then did she notice Amir. Only then did she remember what this night was about; take into account what else lay ahead. Her mind had shut down in the last hour and a half. She had been pure insatiable instinct, but now she had to face her husband, who rose quietly from the chaise. Delvin sat up in the bed as Amir opened and dropped his robe.

Amir reached into the bed and plucked her out. “You might want to join us so you won't miss anything,” he taunted Delvin, while selecting a few items from Tailan's overnight bag.

Carefully he carried her to the bath and cleansed her with slow pleasing strokes that caused her to rest her back against his chest and close her eyes. He massaged every inch of her. He even went so far as to wash her hair with an apricot fragrance she loved. While these pampering baths were the norm at home, this one was mostly an attempt to wash away any memory that Delvin had freshly implanted. She surrendered to her husband in the same way that she had when he had first come to her. Although her surrender back then had taken nearly a year, he was persistent, using every method at his disposal to heal her body and mind. He had hoped his loving care would touch her on a soul level. And it did, to some degree.

He had introduced her to the arts of Tantric sex, Kama Sutra, and several types of Energetic Sex practices, all of which were designed to stimulate and heal, tease, and awaken. Over time, she had become multi-orgasmic and so responsive to her husband's touch that he could elicit pleasure with just a look, a scent, a taste—simple, but powerful. Sometimes their lovemaking extended the course of hours, with only small rests in between—and that was for her sake. Amir was insatiable, and he had made her that way as well. She loved every single pleasurable minute of it.

Amir had given her the kind of love that encouraged her to explore, to become. His ever-present and unwavering desire to keep them from falling into despair over what each had lost, slowly brought Tailan to the point that she could love again. And for that, she would be forever grateful and she would forever love him.

When they returned to the master bedroom, Delvin had also freshly showered and had now taken up residence on the lounge.

He eased deeper into the cushions as Amir said, “My love,” and pulled away Tailan's towel. “The night is young. Now I will worship you as you truly deserve.”

Amir's mouth touched hers and made a slow, sensual decent down between her breasts, over her quivering belly. He held her to him as if his very life depended on it.

“Oh. My. God,” was the last thing she remembered saying as Amir took her to nirvana.

Chapter 28

Eight hours later, Tailan glanced over to the clock on the nightstand and then out the window. The master bedroom was quiet. Still. From the look of the sun creeping into the sky and the time on the clock, she'd only slept for about an hour.

Lord, she ached everywhere. She turned her head again and noticed that she was alone. Calling on the last reserves of her strength, Tailan found the command button in her brain to instruct her depleted, exhausted, flimsy limbs to move.

She hissed as she placed her feet to the floor and slipped on her robe. Carefully, very carefully, Tailan inched her way to the door and found Amir standing near the massive picture window, watching the night give way to the day.

“Amir, what's wrong?” she asked softly, moving to stand beside him.

The look Amir tossed her way was almost deadly. “It is best I do not speak my mind right now.”

“I'm a big girl,” she replied, edging over to the sofa. “I can handle it.”

Amir turned, watched the way she moved, and grimaced. “Do not be too sure.”

“And what's that supposed to mean?” she asked, reclining into the cushions.

Silence expanded between them for several minutes. Tailan almost fell off to sleep again she was so relaxed. Her eyes blinked opened as Amir said, “There is much I have to say. None of it is particularly pleasant.”

“You asked for this,” she said through her teeth. “You wanted an open marriage.”

“That is what I keep telling myself.”

Amir stormed over to the bar and yanked out a bottle of vodka. He didn't bother to pour himself a glass. Instead, he took a strong swig and slammed the bottle on the counter.

Tailan flinched. She had never seen him so angry or take in any form of strong drink. Amir's emotions were always controlled, calm, peaceful.

“When you're ready to talk, you know where to find me,” she said. “I'm not going to beg you.” She pulled herself from the sofa and started for the bedroom.

He shot over from the bar, grabbed her wrist, and whipped her around to face him. Her robe fell open.

“He damn near raped you,” he roared. “He … he … he tore into you like you were some … some whore. Like your body didn't matter. Like
you
didn't matter.”

Tailan blinked and attempted to replay her lovemaking with Delvin in her mind. It was intense, vigorous—the lovemaking of two thirsty people who had finally found that tall glass of water and knew they only had so much time to drink. She had loved every single moment of it.

She followed Amir's stark inspection of her naked body, looking down to take in what he saw. There were passion marks peppered across her breasts. Her inner thighs were slightly discolored. Her hips had visible handprints from Delvin's vice-like grip.
