“Why?”

“Because tomorrow will come.”

“Tomorrow will come no matter
what.”

“Not if we’re awake.  Just stay
awake.”

“But tomorrow will be great.  A new
day…”

“I don’t want this day to end yet,”
Beth said.

“Talk to me then,” Bobby said.  He
could sense that Beth wasn’t just naked in the physical sense but in terms of
something much greater.

“I can’t believe how life works,”
Beth said.  “Here I am, in bed with you.  Look at you.”

“Look at you,” Bobby said.

“I don’t want to.”

“You should.”

“Have you ever been called a pig
before?  Or fat?”

“No,” Bobby said.  “But that
doesn’t mean I haven’t been called anything.”

Beth grabbed for the covers and
pulled them up to her chin.  As sudden rush of self consciousness hit her
hard.

“Well, I know what I’ve been
called,” she said.

“You shouldn’t listen to people,”
Bobby said.  He brushed some of Beth’s hair behind her ear.  “Unless it’s me.”
He tried to smile but Beth wasn’t buying now.

“I listen when someone has a gun
pointed at me.”

As Beth said it, her voice
cracked.  Her body tingled with fear and tears filled her eyes.  She hadn’t
spoken to anyone other than police about the robbery.  She had nobody else to
talk to or anyone who would listen to her.  She knew that Bobby was still
considered a stranger and maybe that’s just what she needed.

“Gun…,” Bobby said.  He tried to
act surprised.

“A gun,” Beth said.  “I was robbed
at gunpoint.  The man took all the money from the register but that didn’t
bother me.  What bothered me was that I went against my better judgment because
I didn’t want to judge him and he ended up judging me.”

“Beth, people who do that stuff…”

“The entire time he robbed me, he
told me how disgusting I was.  Told me he’d rape me if I was better looking.
The sad part is part of me wished I was worthy of his needs, no matter how
sick.”

“No,” Bobby said.  “You can’t think
like that.  You’re worthy of anything your heart believes.  Dammit.  You can’t
listen to the words of a man like that.  That’s not a man.  A man doesn’t do
that to a woman.”

“Doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt,”
Beth said.

“I understand.  Look at me, Beth,
please.”

Beth looked at Bobby.  A tear ran
down her face to the pillow.

Bobby used his thumb to wipe the
next tear.

“You are beautiful,” he said.
“Look in my eyes and tell me I’m lying…”

“You’re not,” Beth said.

“I’m not.  Remember that.  You are
beautiful.  Don’t let someone take your beauty away with words.”

“Easy to say for a man who is naked
and doesn’t have a gun pointed at them.”

Bobby had much more to say but he
knew that it wasn’t words Beth needed to hear.  They would just bounce off her,
like rocks against a metal wall.  She had her shield up, and Bobby didn’t need
to ask anymore questions about the robbery because he had read the article in
the newspaper half a dozen times.  He did the only thing that made sense at
that point and knew it was something that probably didn’t happen enough in
Beth’s life.

Bobby forced his left arm under and
around Beth’s pillow.  He turned back and let Beth lay on him, holding her in
his strong arms as tight as he could without hurting her.  His right leg
wrapped over his own body and interlocked with Beth’s left leg.  He pulled
until he felt the warm moisture of Beth’s sweet spot touching his leg.

They were naked, together.

They didn’t speak and Bobby didn’t
fall asleep until he no longer felt the small tears on his chest from Beth.

When Beth fell asleep Bobby kissed
the top of her head and tried to close his eyes without losing the moment he
had in his arms.  But as he started to fade away, his subconscious reminded him
that he was here on business… not just pleasure.

9-

Beth opened
her eyes to find
Bobby staring at her.  Her head snapped left to right, and for a few mind
blurring seconds, she couldn’t remember where she was or who she was with.  Her
mind told her that she had to be dreaming, waking next to a man as sexy as Bobby.
She even lifted the covers up and looked down, expecting to see her body as
some skinny, tight looking thing, something her dreams would conjure up.  That
wasn’t the case at all.  Beth was the same Beth, full figured.

“Morning,” Bobby said.

Beth looked at him.  “This really
happened.”

“Of course it did,” Bobby said.

He touched Beth’s face and smiled.
“Did you think it was all a dream?”

“I don’t know,” Beth said.  She
yawned and covered her mouth.  She started to roll to her back when she felt
Bobby’s tight grip stop her.

“Well, I guess if you thought it
was a dream, I should bring you back to reality.”

With one move Bobby pulled Beth on
top of him, his hands going right down to her backside, spreading her legs.  He
spread his legs and she felt the stiffness of his penis touching her already.
Beth’s hands were flat on the bed, next to Bobby’s head, her breasts hanging in
his face.

“Bobby… I can’t…”

Beth had never been on top during
sex.  Ever.  She always thought her weight would hurt the other person and just
look bad.

“Oh, you can,” Bobby said.  He
thrust up and let his erection slide along Beth’s slit.

Her moisture flooded Bobby and the
feel of his hardness on her sensitive spot made her moan.  She couldn’t stop
staring at Bobby, feeling so vulnerable.  Her hair fell past her face, her
breathing already heavy.

Bobby guided Beth down as he came
up, letting his tip penetrate her.  Beth shuddered with pleasure, her body not
used to waking up and feeling something so intense and erotic.  She moaned as
Bobby, worked deeper inside of her.  His hands gripped her backside, holding
her ass tight, forcing her down on him.  Beth spread her legs more, coming down
on Bobby.

The warmth and pleasure that hit
Bobby made him groan.  Beth engulfed him, taking all of his cock.  Her breasts
pressed against his chest as she tried to hover over him.  They stared at each
other and let a few silent seconds pass.  The only movement between them was
their sex spots throbbing at each other.  Bobby resisted his urge to pump and
Beth resisted her urge to lift up.  This created a sudden spark of sexual
tension.  Suddenly, they then attacked each other with a deep kiss, their
tongues savoring each other’s mouth as they began to fuck each other.

They worked together; Beth lifting
and lowering herself onto Bobby as he pumped himself at her.  Their sex started
slow and sweet but it only took a minute before it became loud.  Bobby’s body
started moving fast enough that his skin crashed against Beth’s.  Beth’s
moisture made a sweet noise each time she came down on Bobby.  Soon their
motions made the bed rock, the headboard tapping against the wall.  Beth loved
to hear that sound, mostly because it mixed with the pleasure rolling through
her body.  Her hands were tight on the sheets and she started to pump harder,
wanting more of Bobby, wanting to feel his electric climax again.

As they still kissed, it became hot
and messy.  With Beth’s motions growing more and more wild, her tongue licked
down Bobby’s chin and then moved into his mouth, back out almost to his nose,
and then back to his mouth.  It was the hottest kiss of Beth’s life and she
continued it, moaning into Bobby’s mouth as they fucked each other.  Bobby’s
hands traveled up and down Beth’s body, his fingers remembering all her sultry
curves.  Touching her made him thrust more and when he felt his need to climax,
he hurried to put his hands back to her backside.

He held Beth tight for the last few
pumps, Beth succumbing to Bobby’s needs as she stopped moving and let him work himself
to climax.  They kissed as Bobby reached orgasm, his release spreading deep
inside of Beth.  Beth started to come too, matching Bobby’s orgasmic pleasure.
She was down on Bobby, his cock as deep as it could be, their tongues still
kissing.  They remained that way through each other’s orgasm and even beyond.
They couldn’t stop kissing.  Even as Bobby lost his erection and slowly slid
from Beth’s warm slit, they kissed.

Bobby didn’t want it to end because
there were truths waiting outside of Beth’s bedroom.

Beth didn’t want it to end because
Bobby was too sexy to let out of her bed.

So for the first time since opening
her bakery – no matter the weather or circumstances in her life – Beth didn’t
show up on time.  She would open the bakery late and had a pretty damn good
reason to do so.

10-

“I want
to know more about
it.”

Beth stopped smiling for the first
time since Bobby had walked into the bakery.  It had been a slower day, well,
more or less a normal business day but slow compared to the flurry of business
right after the robbery.  She had cookies in the oven almost done and had an
order for three cakes that didn’t need to be done for a couple days.  A normal
workload which Beth welcomed with open arms because any extra energy she had –
or could find – she spent on thinking about Bobby, replaying their time in her
bed, and wondering if it was going to happen again.

“What to know more about what?” she
asked, noting how serious Bobby’s face looked.

His nice, calm face had a little
touch of stone to it, like a hardened businessman ready to tear someone apart.

Twenty minutes before, Bobby had
been seated on the bed in his hotel room reading the newspaper article about
Beth and the robbery.  Mr. Galloway had already called him twice, wanting to
know the progress of the deal.  All Bobby could tell his boss was that
things
were moving along
.  Mr. Galloway didn’t like the answer so Bobby pulled the
small town
card explaining that dealing with a small town meant dealing
with everyone.  You couldn’t just walk into a town and ruin it.  Other
companies could but he refused to let Mr. Galloway do it.  Mr. Galloway agreed
and that ended the conversation.

Bobby stared at the article and at
the picture of Beth in the article, wanting to know everything about Beth and
her life.  He didn’t want to do anything but learn about Beth… and
do
Beth.  Her curves were beautifully perfect, her shape and size a constant
calling, unable to hide her.  And now that Bobby had enjoyed the company of
Beth, he knew just what those curves could do.

“The robbery,” Bobby said.  “I want
to know more about it.”

Beth’s face dropped.  Her body
shook with fear.  Talking about the robbery was one thing but to talk about in
the bakery was another.  She blinked a few times, trying to block the images of
the man with the gun in her bakery, taking money, threatening her, and leaving.

“What’s wrong with you?” she
asked.  “Why would you come here and ask that?”

“Nobody else is here,” Bobby said.
“It’s just us.  I want to know more.”

“Why?”

“So I can feel your pain and anger…
and take it.”

“Take it?”

“You shouldn’t feel anything except…
except being proud of what you’ve done here.  Your beauty.  Your smile.  Your
life…”

Beth wanted to cry but at the same
time didn’t.  “What exactly do you want to know?”

“Just what happened…”

“I let my guard down,” Beth said.
“For one second.  He stood at the door and said he had been mugged.  He was
bleeding, Bobby, actually bleeding.  That meant he hurt himself to get inside
here, that’s how much he wanted to rob me.”

“Not you,” Bobby said.  “He wanted
money.”

“And to hurt me.”  Beth paused and
the entire bakery felt like a shell of lies.  The look was happy and clean.
The smell was delicious, the warm cookies and chocolate baking.  “That’s what
he did, he hurt me.  I already told you that.”

“What did he say?”

“Called me what I am.  Fat.  Pig.
Fat ass.  Told me he’d have raped me if I wasn’t so fat…”

Bobby gritted his teeth.  His
nerves felt pinched and twisted.  His hands were in fists and the urge to hit
something grew.  This was exactly how he wanted to feel, to prove to himself
that this thing with Beth was real.

“Never,” Bobby said.  “Never.
You’re amazing, Beth.  Amazing.”

“You make me feel that way,” she
replied.

“Ah, damn,” Bobby whispered.

He swayed left to right for a few
seconds, knowing what he needed to do and what he wanted to do.  Work versus
life, the battle that raged year after year.

He chose his heart and what he
wanted, jumping up to the counter and over, back down to the floor, standing a few
inches from Beth.  He embraced her and spun her around.

“Never,” he said again.  “Never.
I’d kill that man if I ever saw him.”

“You probably won’t ever see him,”
Beth said.  “You know that.”

“But I just want you to know how
angry it makes me.”

Bobby took Beth’s hand and put it
to his chest.  She felt his hard punching like a hammer.

“Calm down,” she whispered.

“I can’t, thinking of someone
hurting you.  Because if you ever doubt yourself…”

Beth showed just how much she
didn’t doubt herself in that second, kissing Bobby.  Each time their lips
touched and kissed, with the fluttering of their tongues, it made Beth feel
more connected to Bobby.  Her eyes were open as they kissed and she looked to
the front door, wishing Bobby had locked it like last night.  She’d love to
have Bobby again, right there, in the bakery.

When Bobby pulled away he let out a
long breath.

“I just came over to talk for a
second,” he said.

“Sorry,” Beth replied.  “If I’m
near you, I’m going to kiss you.”

“I like that idea.  In fact, you
could be near me again, tonight, when you’re done here.”
