I smelled hot leather before I felt him behind me. Then I was turned and hauled up into Beck’s arms.

“The kids better be at the sitters,” he growled.

I did a shimmy up and down his body. “They are, baby.”

He looked at me and groaned.

“I had some plans, but you wearing that, looking like that, with that in your eyes. Shit, I have to improvise.”

Then Beck started digging in the front pocket of his leather pants.

“Well, there is something I want to ask you too,” I said, now hesitant, when before I had been pure sex kitten.

The next thing I knew we were both speaking at once, as I held up his ring, while I then saw he held up a ring box to me.

My eyes were wide with surprise as our words mingled and got lost. I felt Beck lowering, and then he went down on one knee.

“Oh my God!” I squealed.

“What is that?” he asked, looking at the ring I held out.

We looked at each other; the understanding beginning to dawn.

Finally, Beck said, “Let’s say it to together.”

I grinned and nodded.

Then we both said, “Will you marry me!”
